Golden and Fragile

I’ve got 10 sheets of A1 format golden paper when I rediscovered paper cutting and found a new purpose for it - reconnecting with my Ukrainian identity and using my style in a new medium.

I like how it looks metallic and at the same time very fragile, almost ethereal. The subject is inspired in the role wheat plays in Ukrainian history and culture, the execution - patterns of William Morris, islamic tiles and ornaments I saw in V&A Museum in London.
